Account Manager - Programmatic


The Opportunity

One of the UK's best and fastest growing media networks, are looking for a Programmatic Account Manager to play a pivotal role in a newly formed programmatic team - working with a roster of luxury, FMCG, Retail and Entertainment clients - all new business wins.

As the programmatic industry continues to rapidly expand, you'll be responsible for what will be some of the biggest programmatic campaigns globally. You can expect to have full autonomy over campaign management, use of programmatic tools / technologies, client management and advise clients on strategy.Prior experience in programmatic is highly sought after, though our client will not dismiss those with exposure to it as training can be given.

The Job

  • Programmatic campaign ownership: brief, plan/strategy development, budget management, optimisation, analysis, reporting and buying of inventory
  • Support team members in overall campaign objectives, including training, guidance and development for more junior team members (Execs / Graduates / SAEs)
  • Compile, create and deliver presentations to the client and internal stakeholders on the performance/results of programmatic campaigns, suggesting ideas for improvement, if required
  • Plan and buy media programmatically
  • Negotiate deals in order to maximise value for both the client and the agency
  • Consistently seeking to develop and maintain an effective, honest and positive relationship with the client
  • Striving to always be on top of programmatic/digital trends, news and pattern

The Required/Desired Skills

  • 2-4 years’ experience in Digital Media with strong exposure to Programmatic
  • Significant understanding of the programmatic space: DSP's, SSP's, DMP's, tracking & measurement, Ad Servers etc
  • Strong analytical skills gathered from previous experience in data interpretation, analysis, reporting
  • Direct/hands-on experience in the programmatic space, working for a DSP, SSP, DMP, Agency Trade Desk, Independent Trade Desk, Programmatic Technology or an agency
  • Use of DSPs such as DBM, MediaMath T1, RocketFuel, AppNexus, DataXu, TubeMogul,
  • Programmatic campaign management experience
